feathers


The bottom photo is what the chicks looked like at 6 days. And only 48 hours later (top photo), they are getting feathers and have grown so rapidly; they are almost spilling out over the edge of the nest!

I just came across your site, I love your series of robin eggs hatching. What a treat to witness such an incredible event. You did such a good job catching such moments. Hatching, feeding, I'm sure you'll get them taking first flight next! I hope it is all a safe journey.
Now, you get to paint some, the nest and blue eggs are amazing. Good luck, thanks for sharing and being so diligent!
