Calumet Farm

12 x 12, oil on canvas

It was forty eight years ago this month that the third James Bond film, Goldfinger, first arrived in theaters. Filmed mostly in England and Switzerland, there are also Kentucky scenes including Calumet Farm.
Yep. That's right. Sean Connery and Kentucky. They go together like bread and buttuh.

"Lexington, Kentucky looks like paradise.
Acres of grass as green and tender as a golf course surround hilltop mansions..."

Love this painting and Calumet Farms. Kentucky is a beautiful State and I feel lucky to live here--even when it's hot and muggy!!! Amazing job on that fence.
