curiosity

6 x 8, oil on canvas
I stare at the cardinal outside my window and he stares back. What is he thinking? What does he see? Does he sense danger, or is he just curious about who and what I am?
Happy New Year. Wishing you new adventures, ideas, and experiences to explore and be curious about!

There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle"

I like to think everything is a miracle! Your cardinal is so handsome! He is the subject of a wonderful painting with beautiful colors and a great composition! Truly a miracle! :-)

I enjoy your positive and meaningful writings along with each painting. This red bird is so lovely...branches are so texturey and wonderful. That background color is perfect to set is all off.

Love your little painting and thoughts... Sometimes I think animals think.... Everything can't be instinctual, can it??

And yes... everything IS a miracle!!

Happy New Year!

What a gorgeous red! He does look like he's lost in contemplation. Great job on that expression and the lush fluffy feathers!
