New Website!

In an effort to be more efficient, I have tried to organize, categorize, classify, and straighten STUFF this summer. And as the summer draws to a close this Labor Day weekend, I am happy to say that I actually completed a few projects, including archiving all my paintings into a new website; dividing them into categories for easier viewing! I plan to continue this blog, but needed the website as an added tool for more efficient sorting. It was indeed a Labor of Love...You can check it out here: Faye Christian Phillips:

“Strange is our situation here upon earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: That we are here for the sake of others...for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy. Many times a day, I realize how much my outer and inner life is built upon the labors of people, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received.”...Albert Einstein

Your new website is awesome! You are certainly talented and this showcases your work very well. Congrats on a job well done--no wonder I haven't seen you lately.

Thanks so much, everyone. I have to admit that discovering the "perfect" quote is at least as much fun as painting.

Faye, I have been to your other site, and must take a break in viewing just to tell you that you've done an excellent job organizing-
I love how you have your florals in groups according to color dominance, for one.
Your tea section is wonderful as well- but I love it more so because of the way I can feel how delicate the china is because of your painting technique.
The fashion section is wonderful, and in the "other" section, I love the painting of the glass of wine next to the sketch.
I must mention the pears- they are great- and as always, your quotes are as inspiring as your art.
Now, I will continue to view your works.

Your photographs are so gorgeous, too. It's fun to see everything all together, and easy to page through.
