Centre College

Once again shifting into a new season and subject - this time my focus will be on scenes from Kentucky, and I begin with Centre College, a top-50 liberal arts college, located in Danville where students and faculty are busily preparing to embark on a new year, new life.

"To be hopeful, to embrace one possibility after another--
that is surely the basic instinct...
Time to move out into the glorious debris.
Time to take this life for what it is!"
Barbara Kingsolver (who grew up in Carlisle, Kentucky)

Love this - feel like I'm walking on campus on a crisp & sunny late summer morning. Very excited about your new season and subject matter - Kentucky is so beautiful!! (There'll have to be some horses in there too :))

These are lovely! The blues and greens are exquisite and set the tone for the lush, spaciousness that defines the state of Kentucky! Well done!
