a play within a play

Yikes, this one was a wee bit more complicated.
“My logic tells me why strive for complicated, difficult-to-sew arrangements when simple squares, diamonds and triangles are so endlessly fascinating as long as the colors are alive.” Kaffe Fassatt

I clicked on the picture so I could go in and see a close-up and I'm glad I did. It's fascinating to see the interlocking colors and how they move through the composition. My favorite part: the inside of the teacup! It's so delicate. (I'm fairly certain my mom has a teacup like this).

Love love love this series of complex paintings your doing. I like each one better than the last. The colors in this just blow me away. I like the addition of the tea cup too. Gorgeous!

Bravo, Faye. Nice work.
I recently took Colin Page's workshop and we had fabrics with designs in them. I'm working on it, let's say!
